Important Voter Registration Information

 
Every vote counts. To participate in the upcoming September 15, 2026 special election, Clementon residents must be registered to vote. 
 

Voter Eligibility Requirements

 
To register to vote in Camden County, you must be:
  • You are a U.S. Citizen
  • You are a New Jersey resident
  • You will have resided in the State and County for at least 30 days before the next election
  • You are at least 17 years of age
  • You are not serving a sentence of incarceration as the result of a conviction of an indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or the United States
New Jersey law requires voters to be registered 21 days prior to an election.
  • Voter Registration Deadline: August 25, 2026

You can register or update your existing registration details in one of two ways:
  1. Register Online: Visit the New Jersey Online Voter Registration portal. You will need your date of birth and either a valid NJ Driver’s License/Non-Driver ID, or your Social Security number.
  2. Register By Paper/Mail: Download and print a Voter Registration Application. You may register in person at the County Office, use the above-referenced form, or register at your municipal clerk’s office,
  3. Unsure if you're already registered? Use the official NJ Am I Registered? online search tool to check your status and make sure your current address is completely up to date.

 How and When to Vote


There are two convenient ways to cast your ballot in this special election:
  1. In-Person Voting: Vote in person on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Clementon Fire Hall/Community Center located at 165 Gibbsboro Road in Clementon.  Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 
  2. Vote by Mail: To vote by mail, you must request a Mail-In Ballot from the Camden County Clerk. Your application must be received by mail by September 8, 2026 (7 days prior to the election), or requested in person at the Clerk's office by 3:00 p.m. on September 14. Your completed ballot must be postmarked by September 15, 2026.
