Excellence

About Us

We are proud to be the heart of our community’s education. Since opening our doors in 1980, our school has evolved through significant expansions including a dedicated middle school wing and extensive renovations to provide a modern, safe, and vibrant learning environment for our students.

Today, we serve a growing population of approximately 600 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade. As the highest performing Title I school in the State for ELA and a Camden County Middle School of Character Award recipient with competitive Niche ratings, we are deeply committed to ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging and pride.

Looking Toward the Future: Preschool Expansion

To meet the needs of our growing community, we are moving forward with a significant expansion project. Beginning in September 2026, our expanded preschool program will operate out of a dedicated temporary site. This temporary location is the first step in our long-term vision, which includes the construction of a brand-new, permanent building designed specifically to support the development and safety of our preschool students.

Educational Experience

The educational experience at Clementon is built on a deep commitment to academic excellence. Our curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and future-focused, balancing core academic mastery with essential creative and wellness programs:

Academics:
Reading, Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and World Language

Enrichment & Specials:
Art, Music, Media & Library Skills, Health, Physical Education, STEM, and Computer Literacy. We take immense pride in our performing arts, offering robust band, theater and choir programs.

Innovation:
We prioritize the integration of technology in every classroom, ensuring our students are prepared for the digital landscape of the 21st century.

School Culture and Wellness

In Clementon, we believe that a positive school climate is the foundation of learning. Our students are motivated through character trait awards and positive behavior incentives, including access to our popular Bulldog Arcade. From themed spirit days to a wide variety of interscholastic sports, intramurals and after-school clubs, there is a place for every student to grow. We prioritize healthy lifestyles through our campus walking track equipped with specialized fitness stations.

Transitioning to High School

Our commitment to student success extends beyond our hallways. Upon graduating 8th grade, Clementon students typically transition to Overbrook Senior High School with their peers from Berlin Township and Pine Hill. Additionally, students have the opportunity to apply for admission to the Camden County Technical School (CCTS) for specialized career and technical education programs.
